Players in grades 3rd – 8th participate in the U.L.A. (Upstate Lacrosse Association). This league is classified as an Instructional League and as such provides an excellent opportunity for players to learn and develop their lacrosse skills. This league runs from the beginning of May until the end of July. Practice schedules are determined by individual team coaches. U.L.A. games are scheduled for six weeks beginning with an Opening Weekend in June.
The 2019 Opening Weekend will be TBD at Auburn High School and Everest Park, Auburn. First games will start the week before Opening Weekend this year.
The grade level that you attend during the 2016-2017 school year and/or competed in scholastically, is the level in which you will compete in the U.L.A. A player may play at only one grade level per year. It is the goal of the CYLA to field more than one team at each conference level. In the event that there are not enough registrants/coaches to field two teams, the positions will be filled on a first come first serve basis (26/players per team).
